Well-BA: The First Professional Master’s in Wellness Business Administration is Here

During the Latin American Spa Congress held this past weekend, a groundbreaking educational program was officially launched: Well-BA, the first Professional Master’s in Wellness Business Administration, designed for those who aspire to grow and lead in the global wellness industry.

César Tejedor and Alejandro Ortíz, respected leaders and founders of the program, took the stage to present the platform and share their vision for the present and future of wellness. Their message was clear: education and professionalization are the keys to differentiation, growth, and real opportunities in this rapidly evolving field.

“Wellness is no longer a trend, it’s a global economic force. To thrive in it, talent alone is not enough. You need knowledge, vision, and strategy,” stated César Tejedor during the launch.

A 360º Learning Experience

Well-BA was created to fill a critical gap in the industry: a comprehensive, professional-level education that embraces all areas of the wellness economy, from spa and hospitality to holistic health, fitness, sustainability, and business leadership.

With a microlearning format that encourages short, focused study sessions (15–20 minutes a day), Well-BA offers the flexibility to learn at your own pace, wherever you are in the world. The program is fully online, but highly immersive and practical.

No fluff. Just real-world skills

What sets Well-BA apart is its hands-on approach. Learners work through real-life projects, industry-based exercises, and relevant case studies. The curriculum was designed to be immediately applicable, helping professionals turn insight into action from day one.

The master’s program also gives access to a global network of experts: professionals who once worked as lifeguards, therapists, and front-desk staff, and now lead international wellness brands, manage multimillion-dollar operations, and inspire change across the industry.

Opening New Doors in the Wellness Sector

Alejandro Ortíz emphasized that to succeed in today’s wellness economy, professionals must understand the interconnected sectors that shape it — from mental health and nutrition to aesthetics, technology, and wellness travel. “When you grasp the big picture, you’ll design your path with clarity and purpose,” he shared.

A New Era in Wellness Education

Whether you’re a wellness entrepreneur, spa therapist, fitness coach, educator, or holistic practitioner, Well-BA equips you with the mindset and skills to grow with confidence, and build a business or career that reflects your values and potential.
